This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) outlines the terms and conditions regarding the processing of personal data across services and products within the KCHAT ecosystem, owned, operated, and managed by KCHAT (collectively referred to as “Products” or “Services”).
When Users log in and use KCHAT application, they agree and commit to allow KCHAT to apply technical measures to collect, process, and protect data related to their Account. Depending on the time, we may process personal data through various methods including but not limited to:
We collect and process basic personal information and sensitive personal data of Users under the following categories:
(i) Identification information: Personal data provided when creating an account and during the use of KCHAT application, including phone number and email address.
(ii) User-generated content: Includes survey information provided by Users via the application interface.
(i) Application, Device, and Network Information: Includes OS details, version, default language, signal quality, cookies, IP address, battery level, product interaction data, connection status, incident data, performance, browser info, and similar data types.
(ii) Account Activity: Records of login times, frequency of use, actions performed, and incident reports.
(iii) Information Updated via Request Forms: Data updated when Users change contact or personal information via request forms at KCHAT.
KCHAT collects account information to provide stable and secure KCHAT Products to all Users. The data collected and its usage depend on the User’s needs and security management methods, including:
(i) Service provision: Use Account information to register and verify the Users, to provide the functionalities of the application.
(ii) Research and development: Analyze the trends, build market reports, assess the risks and fix technical issues, and detect fraudulent actions to improve the application.
(iii) Product stability and safety: Use the Account information to protect the Users from possible personal data leak and prevent the abuse of the application for illegal purposes.
(iv) User communication: Get in contact with the Users, respond to support request via the contact information provided.
(v) Legal compliance: Comply with the laws and regulations from authorities.
(vi) Fraud prevention: Prevent fraudulent acts, intrusion, account theft or impersonation of Users.
(vii) Prevention of illegal activities: Use Account information to prevent illegal activities.
(viii) Other business-related purposes deemed appropriate: Carry out other purposes related to the business operations that KCHAT deems appropriate.
Personal data will be stored and processed throughout the use of KCHAT application, from account registration, in accordance with this Policy and any agreements or contracts between the User and the Company.
Personal data may also be retained to fulfill obligations to the User or legal requirements, at the request of competent authorities or in accordance with current laws.
The User’s personal data will be stored for the period necessary to meet the purpose of providing the KCHAT application and in accordance with relevant laws.
(i) Via product interface: By logging into their account on the KCHAT application, Users can access features that allow them to modify, delete their account, or withdraw their consent to the processing of personal information provided through the user interface.
(ii) Written request to company headquarters: Additionally, Users may submit a written request to KCHAT to request the updating, modification or deletion of account information.
(iii) Revoking data collection rights: If the User does not agree to allow KCHAT to continue to collect and process his/her account information, the User can actively disable access on the KCHAT application or directly contact our headquarters to make relevant requests.
(iv) Identity verification: Any request related to the rights of the data’s owner will be recorded through a request form to KCHAT. Our specialized department will guide the User to complete the necessary procedures. Please note that we will authenticate the User’s identity to protect the User’s rights before processing the request.
(v) Scope of execution: Only for data permitted under this Policy: We will only process requests for Account information that the User has authorized to be processed in accordance with this Policy.
If there is a situation where it is necessary to immediately process personal data related to protecting the life or health of the User or others, KCHAT application will process the information without the prior consent of the User.
Processing or sharing of personal data as required by law does not require separate consent.
In the event of emergencies regarding national defense, security, social order, major disasters or epidemics; or when there is a threat to national security and defense (even if not yet at the level of an emergency alarm); as well as in cases of preventing acts of sabotage, terrorism, crime prevention and other violations of the law as prescribed by law, KCHAT Products will process personal data at the request of competent state agencies.
When the processing of personal data is necessary to perform contractual obligations between the Data’s owner and relevant agencies, organizations and individuals as prescribed by law, such processing will be carried out without requiring the User’s separate consent.
Data processing for official government activities as defined by law does not require User consent.
The Company continuously strives to protect Users from data breaches. KCHAT integrates advanced security features.
The User should understand that the level of security depends on the device, Internet connection or network infrastructure used by the User, as well as factors managed by third parties. Therefore, the application of additional protection measures is necessary, and the User accepts the potential risks when using the KCHAT application.
We apply technical, security, and confidentiality measures in accordance with the law as well as quality commitments to protect the User’s personal information. However, due to the complexity of the technical system, no system or security measure can guarantee absolute safety against any unauthorized attacks or intrusions (such as a cyberattack). Therefore, in the event that personal information is disclosed due to a cyber-attack or a cause beyond our control, the User agrees to exempt KCHAT from all liability for related damages.
Despite the security measures in place, the processing of personal data (by us or by third parties) may result in data-related incidents. However, KCHAT is committed to taking measures to improve the protection of the rights and legitimate interests of Users in accordance with the law.
After agreeing to use the KCHAT application and acknowledging the terms of this Policy, the User may:

Requests not meeting these conditions may be denied. In case the request is accepted, KCHAT will complete the necessary procedures to terminate or restrict the processing of personal data, as well as/or delete the data, within 72 hours from the time of receipt of a valid request. Note: The implementation of these requests does not affect the legality of previously processed data.
Users may access and edit their profile.
In case it is not possible to make direct edits due to technical limitations or other reasons, the User can submit a request to edit personal data via a request form to KCHAT.
After verifying the User’s identity and obtaining the necessary consent, we will proceed to edit the personal data as requested or notify the User within 72 hours if the requested change cannot be made.
We comply with Apple’s ATT framework and request your permission before tracking your activity across other companies’ apps and websites. This process may involve using your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA) to associate app usage data with external sources, in accordance with Apple’s definition of “tracking”.
We may use third-party technologies (e.g., analytics and performance monitoring tools) to support these purposes. Such tools may collect device information, interaction data, and, when authorized, your IDFA.
We do not sell your personal data.
